Island Home in Maine

Situated on a small, isolated island off the eastern coast of Maine, this home is in a town only accessible via a small number of ferryboats coming from the mainland. The homeowner had the building re-roofed with a rolled roofing product that was sold through a nearby building products distributor. Unfortunately, the rolled roofing material was faulty and quickly began leaking.

The homeowner contacted C.W. Conway & Sons Builders Inc. to help her find a more reliable and long-term solution to her roofing dilemma. Conway recommended Elastoflex® SA V and Elastoflex SA P, self-adhesive modified bitumen membranes featuring patented ADESO® Technology.

Florida Keys Estate

The large home situated on its own private island was designed with luxury in mind. When it was time to consider roofing options, quality products were a priority. Under the beautiful copper and metal roofs, Polystick MTS was installed due to its incredible performance for high temperature applications.

The areas that required roofing material for low slope applications were covered with Elastoflex SA V base sheet and capped with Polyflex SA P in Red Blend to complement the metal and copper roofs.

Fairway Woods II Condominiums

One of the most valuable qualities of Polyglass’ Polystick TU Plus self-adhesive membranes is that they can be exposed to the elements for up to 180 days without damage to the membrane or the substructure. That time frame gives roofers the opportunity to install the membrane on all buildings and then go back, sometimes months later, to install the roof tiles. Using the membrane gives flexibility with construction schedules and unpredictable weather.

Understanding that quality and performance are essential components of the Equus Community, Roof Concepts chose to install Polystick® TU Plus.
