Polyglass in the Communities

Polyglass is committed to giving back to the community and is proud to partner with & support local organizations.

Each year, employees serve their communities and collectively volunteer for causes they are passionate about through all the five facility states. Giving back to the communities is one of many ways we Add Value and it represents one of the pillars of our company. At Polyglass, we believe it is our duty to give back and our success as a company is enriched as we help others. At Polyglass the meaning of giving back is coming from our culture of family. This started with the Zanchetta family and is mirrored by the Squinzi family in Mapei.

“I always say, ‘You give, you will receive’. We feel like we have to give back because we are receiving a lot and we want to give back. This is our culture.”

CEO – Natalino Zanchetta

Polyglass USA Inc is dedicated to supporting our community not only locally, but globally as well. In 2022, we partnered with a local organization GEM (Global Empowerment Mission), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 as a first responder to global disasters. Polyglass employees, families, and friends raised $10,000 in four months to assist GEM in their relief efforts to aid Ukrainian refugees.

GEM is providing emergency aid inside Ukraine to the fighters and families that have stayed behind as well as women and children that are trying to cross the border into Poland. In addition, GEM is providing housing to the women and children that are attempting to cross the border from Ukraine to Poland and is housing them in Medlyka and the surrounding areas in apartments, hotels, and Airbnbs. If they have family in other countries and have the proper documentation with them, they will arrange flights for families out of Poland and to their preferred destination.

Polyglass committed to matching up to $10,000 of the donations and traveled to GEM headquarters in Miami on September 8 to present $20,000 to GEM leaders. Click on the link to read more.
