Modifleece

Modifleece is a fleece-backed Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified bitumen roofing membrane base sheet for use in multi-ply low-slope roofing systems. Utilizing a unique laminating process, a specially formulated dual compound is integrated into the polyester fabric to create a monolithic bond between the two components. The self-adhered side laps are protected with a release film which is removed at the time of application, exposing the aggressive self-adhered SBS compound which provides immediate watertight seams.
The proprietary SBS top compound offers quality waterproofing and weathering physical properties while the polyester fleece bottom surface allows application to multiple substrates using Polyglass low rise foam adhesive. Modifleece is ideally suited for application directly over irregular or semi-rough surfaces such as Lightweight Insulating Concrete (LWIC) and re-cover over existing Modified Bitumen roofing systems and in areas where superior wind uplift resistance is required. Modifleece is applied using Polyglass low rise foam adhesive in a spatter pattern while the top film surface offers application of a variety of Polyglass self-adhered or torched membranes.

Typical Applications

• Use as a base ply adhered to LWIC (Lightweight Insulating Concrete)
• Use as a base ply adhered to existing APP/SBS modified bitumen roofing system
• Over other approved substrates

Features and Benefits

• Versatile: over semi-rough/irregular substrates; under torch or self-adhered APP/SBS cap sheets
• Tough polyester reinforced bottom surface fabric provides strong foam adhesive bond for higher wind uplift resistance
• Provides a strong and durable waterproofing substrate for other roofing membrane plies
• Quick dry-in adhered non-penetrating system: no fasteners needed
• Extend life of existing roof systems and avoid costly tear-offs – increase warranty coverage
• Easy to install self-adhered side laps with immediate watertight seal

Polyanchor® XFR

Polyanchor XFR is a fire-rated dual purpose ember and water resistant underlayment. Polyanchor XFR features a plastomeric modified bitumen upper compound and a self-sealing modified compound on the bottom. Polyglass’ patented Burn-Shield Technology®
provides superior ember resistance. Polyanchor XFR features a slip-resistant embedded mineral aggregate walking surface which contributes to the overall ember resistance of the membrane. Polyanchor XFR is ideally suited for mechanically attaching under clay/concrete tile roof covering systems where ember resistance is required or desired.

Typical Applications

• Full roof coverage on combustible decks and under Class A roof coverings to protect against burning embers
• As a water-resistant barrier on steep slope roofing under concrete, clay, and slate tiles as well as shingles and shakes
• Areas prone to wild fires as required by building code

Features and Benefits

• Patented Burn-Shield Technology provides superior ember resistance
• Meets CA code requirements – Class A Fire Rated ember resistant underlayment for WUI
(Wildland Urban Interface)*
• Fiberglass mat provides increased strength and fire resistance
• Mineral aggregate surface engineered for superior slip resistance
• Tough plastomeric modified asphalt top compound for tile stacking
• Up to 180 day exposure
• Self-sealing modified compound on the bottom

Polyanchor® HV

Polyanchor HV is a nailable anchor sheet specially designed for the temporary protection of steep-slope roofs in areas prone to high winds. Designed with Duofix® Technology, Polyanchor HV uses a strong bituminous bonding surface combined with a special tear resistant fiberglass mat to provide superior wind uplift resistance. The top surface of Polyanchor HV is formulated to provide an ideal bonding surface for Polystick polymer modified self-adhered underlayments. The bituminous compounds in the sheet enhances sealability around fasteners and moisture protection while the heavy-duty mat provides strength and tear resistance around fasteners and plates. Polyanchor HV is ideally suited for use with clay/concrete tile roof covering systems with Polystick TU Plus or TU Max as the final substrate for the roof covering. Polyanchor HV is also suitable for use under asphalt shingles.

Typical Applications

• Nailable anchor sheet over approved steep-slope wood decks for temporary
waterproofing protection
• Base sheet for Polystick tile underlayments for concrete, clay, and slate tiles roof
covering systems
• Water-resistant barrier on steep slope roofing under asphalt shingles and shakes

Features and Benefits

• Duofix®  Technology provides superior wind uplift resistance.
• Top surface specially designed to provide highly bondable surface for Polystick
underlayments
• Surface engineered for walkability on sloped roofs
• High tensile-tear strength mat provides increased fastener and plate tear through resistance
• Nail sealing modified asphalt compound

Polyvap™ SA G

Polyvap SA G is a self-adhered vapor retarder for use in commercial low-slope roofing applications. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polyvap SA G features a polymer modified bitumen upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self-adhesive compound allows for easy application.

Polyvap SA G is reinforced with a fiberglass mat, and surfaced with aggregate to enhance skid resistance and allow exposure up to 90 days. The rubberized asphalt seals around correctly installed nails on the weathering surface.

Polyfresko® G SBS HP FR

Polyfresko G SBS HP FR is a premium Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) granulated cap sheet with fire retardant additives for use in low-slope roofing. Polyfresko G SBS HP FR is constructed with a high performance non-woven polyester reinforcement that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as excellent tear and puncture resistance. Polyfresko G SBS HP FR has a film bottom surface for heat welding application.

Featuring patented CURE Technology®, Polyfresko G SBS HP FR has a highly reflective granule surface which meets, or exceeds most standards for cool roofing. CURE Technology features an innovative thin film technology attributing to exceptional granule retention, minimal staining, scuff resistance and UV stabilization for long-term durability and performance.

Polyfresko G SBS HP FR can be used as part of a Polyglass warranted multi-ply system, when combined with Elastoflex S6 or other approved Polyglass base sheets.

Polyflex® 5.0
