The durable woven polyolefin facer is engineered for added tear resistance, UV protection and enhanced walkability, making installation safer and more efficient. A split release film that protects the self adhesive compound allows for easy application. The high-temperature SBS (elastomeric) self-adhered compound provides strong adhesion and watertight lap sealing, Polystick PX HT adds a dependable layer of defense that helps safeguard the integrity of your roof for the long term.

Features and Benefits

  • 120 days UV exposure
  • Self-adhered technology increases labor efficiency and roof dry-in speed
  • Asphaltic compound provides excellent sealability around nails
  • Approved up to 240°F

Polystrip™ SA

Polyglass Polystrip SA is a self-adhering waterproofing tape composed of a slip resistant surface and UV resistant film laminated to an aggressive elastomeric (SBS) modified asphalt adhesive. The adhesive is protected by a siliconized release paper which allows quick and accurate installation.

Polystrip SA seals the roof deck seams and other construction details in compliance with project and/or building code requirements where a self-adhesive strip meeting ASTM D1970 standards is designated.

Polystrip SA may be covered with any Polystick or Polyanchor roofing underlayment or roofing felt. Polystrip SA can also be used as a general flashing membrane.

Typical Applications

  • Designed for applications on new or re-roof projects over roof deck joints
  • May be covered with Polyglass Polystick or Polyanchor underlayments
  • Can also be used as a general flashing membrane
  • Adhesion to plywood, OSB, metal and other approved substrates

Features and Benefits

  • “Seal the deck” joints from water intrusion.
  • Slip resistant walking surface.
  • Highly flexible and lay flat characteristics; transitions over uneven joints.
  • Asphaltic rubberized compound provides excellent sealability around nails.
  • Approved up to 250°F
  • Up to 60 days UV exposure.

Polystrip SA – Roof Deck Joint Tape Take-Off Calculator

Designed to help roofing professionals estimate how many rolls of Polystrip SA joint tape are needed based on the square footage of a roof. Estimates are based on standard measurements for plywood and joint spacing to calculate the total linear footage of deck joints and provide an accurate roll count.

Modifleece

Modifleece is a fleece-backed Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified bitumen roofing membrane base sheet for use in multi-ply low-slope roofing systems. Utilizing a unique laminating process, a specially formulated dual compound is integrated into the polyester fabric to create a monolithic bond between the two components. The self-adhered side laps are protected with a release film which is removed at the time of application, exposing the aggressive self-adhered SBS compound which provides immediate watertight seams.
The proprietary SBS top compound offers quality waterproofing and weathering physical properties while the polyester fleece bottom surface allows application to multiple substrates using Polyglass low rise foam adhesive. Modifleece is ideally suited for application directly over irregular or semi-rough surfaces such as Lightweight Insulating Concrete (LWIC) and re-cover over existing Modified Bitumen roofing systems and in areas where superior wind uplift resistance is required. Modifleece is applied using Polyglass low rise foam adhesive in a spatter pattern while the top film surface offers application of a variety of Polyglass self-adhered or torched membranes.

Typical Applications

• Use as a base ply adhered to LWIC (Lightweight Insulating Concrete)
• Use as a base ply adhered to existing APP/SBS modified bitumen roofing system
• Over other approved substrates

Features and Benefits

• Versatile: over semi-rough/irregular substrates; under torch or self-adhered APP/SBS cap sheets
• Tough polyester reinforced bottom surface fabric provides strong foam adhesive bond for higher wind uplift resistance
• Provides a strong and durable waterproofing substrate for other roofing membrane plies
• Quick dry-in adhered non-penetrating system: no fasteners needed
• Extend life of existing roof systems and avoid costly tear-offs – increase warranty coverage
• Easy to install self-adhered side laps with immediate watertight seal

Polyanchor® SU

Polyanchor SU is a lightweight, nailable synthetic roof underlayment designed to protect the roof deck. Polyanchor SU is stronger than traditional felts for improved wind resistance, durability through heavy foot traffic and adverse weather conditions.
Polyanchor SU’s non-woven fiber surface top surface and polymeric coated bottom surface provides enhanced walkability.
Polyanchor SU is ideally suited for asphalt shingles, synthetic shingles, and cedar shake roof covering systems. Polyanchor SU is preferably matched with Polystick IR-Xe installed on the eaves and valleys for ice and water protection.
