Polyanchor® SU

Polyanchor SU is a lightweight, nailable synthetic roof underlayment designed to protect the roof deck. Polyanchor SU is stronger than traditional felts for improved wind resistance, durability through heavy foot traffic and adverse weather conditions.
Polyanchor SU’s non-woven fiber surface top surface and polymeric coated bottom surface provides enhanced walkability.
Polyanchor SU is ideally suited for asphalt shingles, synthetic shingles, and cedar shake roof covering systems. Polyanchor SU is preferably matched with Polystick IR-Xe installed on the eaves and valleys for ice and water protection.

Typical Applications

• Water-resistant barrier on steep slope roofing under asphalt shingles, synthetic shingles,
and cedar shakes roof coverings
• Nailable steep slope underlayment over approved wood decks for temporary
waterproofing protection
• Used in conjunction with Polystick IR-Xe self-adhered shingle underlayment for greater ice
and water protection at eaves and valleys

Features and Benefits

• Improved tear strength and wind uplift resistance compared to felts
• Enhanced deck grip and walkability
• 90-day UV resistance
• Lightweight, 10 square roll provides quick roof coverage

Polyanchor® XFR

Polyanchor XFR is a fire-rated dual purpose ember and water resistant underlayment. Polyanchor XFR features a plastomeric modified bitumen upper compound and a self-sealing SBS modified compound on the bottom. Polyglass’ patent pending Burn-Shield Technology®
provides superior ember resistance. Polyanchor XFR features a slip-resistant embedded mineral aggregate walking surface which contributes to the overall ember resistance of the membrane. The bottom surface is sanded to protect the self-sealing compound. Polyanchor XFR is ideally suited for mechanically attaching under clay/concrete tile roof covering systems where ember resistance is required or desired.

Typical Applications

• Full roof coverage on combustible decks and under Class A roof coverings to protect
against burning embers
• As a water-resistant barrier on steep slope roofing under concrete, clay, and slate tiles
as well as shingles and shakes
• Areas prone to wild fires as required by building code

Features and Benefits

• Patent pending Burn-Shield Technology provides superior ember resistance
• Meets CA code requirements – Class A Fire Rated ember resistant underlayment for WUI
(Wildland Urban Interface)*
• Fiberglass mat provides increased strength and fire resistance
• Mineral aggregate surface engineered for superior slip resistance
• Tough plastomeric modified asphalt top compound for tile stacking
• Self-sealing elastomeric modified asphalt bottom compound
• Up to 180 day exposure

Polyanchor® HV

Polyanchor HV is a nailable anchor sheet specially designed for the temporary protection of steep-slope roofs in areas prone to high winds. Designed with Duofix™ Technology, Polyanchor HV uses a strong bituminous bonding surface combined with a special tear resistant fiberglass mat to provide superior wind uplift resistance. The top surface of Polyanchor HV is formulated to provide an ideal bonding surface for Polystick polymer modified self-adhered underlayments. The bituminous compounds in the sheet enhances sealability around fasteners and moisture protection while the heavy-duty mat provides strength and tear resistance around fasteners and plates. Polyanchor HV is ideally suited for use with clay/concrete tile roof covering systems with Polystick TU Plus or TU Max as the final substrate for the roof covering. Polyanchor HV is also suitable for use under asphalt shingles.

Typical Applications

• Nailable anchor sheet over approved steep-slope wood decks for temporary
waterproofing protection
• Base sheet for Polystick tile underlayments for concrete, clay, and slate tiles roof
covering systems
• Water-resistant barrier on steep slope roofing under asphalt shingles and shakes

Features and Benefits

• Duofix™ Technology provides superior wind uplift resistance.
• Top surface specially designed to provide highly bondable surface for Polystick
underlayments
• Surface engineered for walkability on sloped roofs
• High tensile-tear strength mat provides increased fastener and plate tear through resistance
• Nail sealing modified asphalt compound

Elastoflex V HP

Elastoflex V HP is an SBS (elastomeric) modified bitumen roofing membrane base sheet. This durable membrane is reinforced with a high performance fiberglass mat to ensure exceptional strength and dimensional stability to the product. The proprietary SBS compound offers superior waterproofing and weathering physical properties.

Elastoflex V HP is intended for use as a base ply or interply membrane and designed to be installed in mechanically attached or heat-welded. Elastoflex V HP can be used as a part of a Polyglass multi-ply system, when combined with Elastoflex V G HP FR cap sheet or other approved Polyglass cap sheets.

Elastoflex V 22

Elastoflex V 22 is a Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified bitumen roofing membrane base sheet. This higher quality membrane is reinforced with a high quality fiberglass mat to ensure strength and excellent dimensional stability to the product. Elastoflex V 22 exhibits superior waterproofing and weathering physical properties.

The top and bottom surfaces are available in sand or factory applied burn-off film. Application methods include mechanically attached, hot asphalt, heat-welded, or as part of cold-applied system. When the top of membrane is surfaced with film, Elastoflex V 22 can be used as a base sheet in self-adhered systems.

Elastoflex V 22 membrane can be used as part of a Polyglass warranted multi-ply system, when combined with Elastoflex V G cap sheets or other approved Polyglass base sheets.

Polyflex®

Polyflex is an Atactic Polypropylene (APP) modified bitumen roofing membrane reinforced with a superior non-woven polyester mat that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as excellent tear and puncture resistance. The premium APP compound and durable construction provides long-term weathering performance. Polyflex is designed for use as base, interply, or cap sheet in multilayer low-slope assemblies.

The top is constructed with a smooth sand surface while the bottom has a factory applied burn-off film for heat welding applications.

Successive system layers can be heat welded with an additional ply of Polyflex or Polyflex G cap sheets. Polyflex is an approved mechanically attached base sheet for the Velociflex system.
