Mapestrip™ 25

Hydrophilic, Expanding Rubber Waterstop for Watertight Joints and Transitions

Mapestrip™ 25 is a pre-formed hydrophilic rubber strip, with an acrylic polymer base specially designed to form watertight construction joints. Controlled volumetric expansion reduces the risk of concrete spalling. Mapestrip™ 25 is ideal for horizontal and vertical construction joints and penetrations though slabs and walls.

  • Rolls: ¾” x 1″ x 16.4′ (20 mm x 25 mm x 5 m)
  • Does not contain bentonite
  • Uniform, volumetric expansion – up to 120%
  • Simple overlap jointing
  • Reproducible swell after wet, dry cycling
  • Unaffected by freeze, thaw cycle

Mapedrain™ HS

HIGH-STRENGTH, HIGH-FLOW DRAINAGE BOARD WITH PROTECTIVE FILM

Mapedrain HS provides hydrostatic relief while preventing the passage of soil or sand particles which might clog the polypropylene core.

Features and Benefits

  • Lightweight and easy to install, Mapedrain HS provides cost savings and eliminates the need for aggregate backfill.
  • Polymeric protective film on the back provides additional protection to waterproofing membranes
  • Mapedrain HS also serves as a protection course for Polyglass below grade waterproofing membranes

Mapedrain™ HS PLUS

EXTRA-STRENGTH, HIGH-FLOW, DRAINAGE MAT WITH PROTECTIVE FILM

Mapedrain HS PLUS provides hydrostatic relief while preventing the passage of soil or sand particles which might clog the polypropylene core. Mapedrain HS PLUS includes a polymeric protective film on the back side to provide additional protection to waterproofing membranes. Mapedrain HS PLUS has additional compressive strength, and higher flow capacity, for critical applications.

Features and Benefits

  • Lightweight and easy to install, Mapedrain HS PLUS provides cost savings and eliminates the need for aggregate backfill.
  • Mapedrain HS PLUS also serves as a protection course for Polyglass below grade and horizontal deck waterproofing membranes.
  • Mapedrain HS PLUS’s extra high compression strength withstands even higher backfill pressure.
  • Mapedrain HS PLUS channels water away from installed waterproofing systems.
  • Native soils can be used over Mapedrain HS PLUS.
  • Geotextile filter fabric prevents intrusion of soil, concrete, or construction grouts into the flow channels.
  • Unaffected by permanent immersion in water, bacteria, dilute acids and alkalis: Mapedrain HS PLUS will not deteriorate when exposed to these conditions.
  • Mapedrain HS PLUS offers below-grade relief of hydrostatic pressure against foundation and retaining walls, when connected to a passive gravity drain or operational sump pump.
  • The drain core is 40% post-industrial recycled polypropylene material.

Mapedrain™ HSW

EXTRA-STRENGTH, HIGH-FLOW, VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL GRADE DRAINAGE MAT WITH WOVEN FABRIC AND PROTECTIVE FILM

Mapedrain HSW is a vertical or horizontal grade drainage mat with a woven fabric and polymeric film to protect above or below grade waterproofing membranes. Mapedrain HSW provides hydrostatic relief while preventing the passage of soil or sand particles which might clog the polypropylene core. Mapedrain HSW has the highest compressive strength and flow capacity of all the Mapedrain drainage mats, making it the best choice for the most critical applications.

Features and Benefits

  • Mapedrain HSW’s superior compression strength withstands even higher backfill pressure and horizontal slabs.
  • Lightweight and easy to install, Mapedrain HSW provides cost savings and eliminates the need for aggregate backfill.
  • Mapedrain HSW also serves as a protection course for Polyglass Above Grade or Below Grade waterproofing membranes.
  • Mapedrain HSW channels water away from installed waterproofing systems.
  • Native soils can be used over Mapedrain HSW.
  • Woven geotextile filter fabric prevents intrusion of soil, concrete, or construction grouts into the flow channels.
  • Unaffected by permanent immersion in water, bacteria, dilute acids and alkalis: Mapedrain HSW will not deteriorate when exposed to these conditions.
  • Mapedrain HSW offers below-grade relief of hydrostatic pressure against foundation and retaining walls, when connected to a passive gravity drain or operational sump pump.
  • The drain core is 40% post-industrial recycled polypropylene material.

Elastoflex V 22

Elastoflex V 22 is a Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified bitumen roofing membrane base sheet. This higher quality membrane is reinforced with a high quality fiberglass mat to ensure strength and excellent dimensional stability to the product. Elastoflex V 22 exhibits superior waterproofing and weathering physical properties.

The top and bottom surfaces are available in sand or factory applied burn-off film. Application methods include mechanically attached, hot asphalt, heat-welded, or as part of cold-applied system. When the top of membrane is surfaced with film, Elastoflex V 22 can be used as a base sheet in self-adhered systems.

Elastoflex V 22 membrane can be used as part of a Polyglass warranted multi-ply system, when combined with Elastoflex V G cap sheets or other approved Polyglass base sheets.

Polyflex®

Polyflex is an Atactic Polypropylene (APP) modified bitumen roofing membrane reinforced with a superior non-woven polyester mat that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as excellent tear and puncture resistance. The premium APP compound and durable construction provides long-term weathering performance. Polyflex is designed for use as base, interply, or cap sheet in multilayer low-slope assemblies.

The top is constructed with a smooth sand surface while the bottom has a factory applied burn-off film for heat welding applications.

Successive system layers can be heat welded with an additional ply of Polyflex or Polyflex G cap sheets. Polyflex is an approved mechanically attached base sheet for the Velociflex system.
