Polyglass Polystrip SA is a self-adhering waterproofing tape composed of a slip resistant surface and UV resistant film laminated to an aggressive elastomeric (SBS) modified asphalt adhesive. The adhesive is protected by a siliconized release paper which allows quick and accurate installation.
Polystrip SA seals the roof deck seams and other construction details in compliance with project and/or building code requirements where a self-adhesive strip meeting ASTM D1970 standards is designated.
Polystrip SA may be covered with any Polystick or Polyanchor roofing underlayment or roofing felt. Polystrip SA can also be used as a general flashing membrane.
Typical Applications
- Designed for applications on new or re-roof projects over roof deck joints
- May be covered with Polyglass Polystick or Polyanchor underlayments
- Can also be used as a general flashing membrane
- Adhesion to plywood, OSB, metal and other approved substrates
Features and Benefits
- “Seal the deck” joints from water intrusion.
- Slip resistant walking surface.
- Highly flexible and lay flat characteristics; transitions over uneven joints.
- Asphaltic rubberized compound provides excellent sealability around nails.
- Approved up to 250°F
- Up to 60 days UV exposure.
Polystrip SA – Roof Deck Joint Tape Take-Off Calculator
Designed to help roofing professionals estimate how many rolls of Polystrip SA joint tape are needed based on the square footage of a roof. Estimates are based on standard measurements for plywood and joint spacing to calculate the total linear footage of deck joints and provide an accurate roll count.

PolyVap SA S is a non-asphaltic self-adhered vapor and air barrier for use in commercial low-slope roofing applications. This membrane features a high strength polypropylene sheet with an aggressive acrylic based adhesive on the bottom that bonds to most substrates.
PolyVap SA S is a carrierless membrane and surfaced with a slip resistant top to enhance walkability. This membrane can be used as a temporary roof for up to 180 days.
The top surface is compatible with approved coverboards and Polytherm insulation; mechanically attached or adhered with Polyglass LRF (low-rise foam) adhesive. Polyglass offers a variety of waterproofing membranes to complete the roof assembly.
Features and Benefits
• Aggressive self-adhesive for wind uplift performance
• Impermeable to air, moisture, and water
• Slip-resistant top surface compatible with Polyglass LRF (low-rise foam) adhesive.
• Weather install temperatures from 20°F and rising
• Direct to metal deck application; no primer required
Polyvap SA G is a self-adhered vapor retarder for use in commercial low-slope roofing applications. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polyvap SA G features a polymer modified bitumen upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self-adhesive compound allows for easy application.
Polyvap SA G is reinforced with a fiberglass mat, and surfaced with aggregate to enhance skid resistance and allow exposure up to 90 days. The rubberized asphalt seals around correctly installed nails on the weathering surface.
