Mapeplan P Clad Metal is a 24-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet (G90) laminated with a 20-mil non-reinforced PVC membrane. The PVC surface allows heat welding of Mapeplan PVC roofing membranes directly to the metal, eliminating the need for separate adhesive strips. Mapeplan P Clad Metal is commonly used to fabricate roof perimeter edge metal and other flashing components. The sheets can be easily cut and formed to create custom edge profiles and flashing details.
