Polystick® MTS Plus

Polystick MTS PLUS is a self-adhered high-temp waterproofing underlayment for metal roof coverings and various other applications. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick MTS PLUS features a polymer modified bitumen upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self adhesive compound allows for easy application.

Polystick MTS PLUS features a cavitated anti-skid top film surface which can be exposed up to 180 days. With a temperature resistance of up to 265°F, Polystick MTS PLUS is ideally suited for high temperature roof covering systems such as steel, aluminum, or copper panels.

Can be installed as part of a multi-ply underlayment system when covered with Polystick TU PLUS, Polystick TU MAX, Polystick XFR or a second ply of Polystick MTS PLUS.

Polystick® XFR

Polystick XFR is a self-adhered waterproofing underlayment with superior fire resistance designed for metal roof coverings. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick XFR features a polymer modified bitumen upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self adhesive compound allows for easy application.

Polyglass’ patented Burn-Shield Technology® provides superior fire and ember resistance in areas where this is required or desired. With a temperature resistance of up to 265°F, Polystick XFR is ideally suited for high temperature roof covering systems such as steel, aluminum, or copper panels. Polystick XFR features a cavitated anti-skid top film surface which can be exposed up to 180 days.

Can be installed as part of a multi-ply underlayment system when used as a secondary layer above Polystick MTS Plus or a two-ply Polystick XFR assembly.

Polystick® TU PLUS

Polystick TU PLUS is a self-adhered, dual reinforced waterproofing underlayment designed for use in adhesive foam or mechanically fastened roof tile applications. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick TU PLUS features a UV resistant polymer modified bitumen plastomeric upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self adhesive compound allows for easy application.

TU PLUS features dual reinforcement consisting of an internal fiberglass mat and a superior polyester reinforced surface fabric. This reinforcement combination creates a robust membrane that provides puncture resistance to heavy tiles and deck and substrate imperfections. The top surface is engineered for both slip resistance and tile stacking.
Polystick TU PLUS features patented SEALLap® factory applied adhesive treatment at the membrane overlap which provides a quick watertight bond.

Although Polystick TU PLUS is designed as an underlayment for clay and concrete tile coverings, this membrane can also be installed under slate tiles. This product is suitable for the high temperature environments (up to 265°F) under tile, metal, and other roof coverings. Polystick TU PLUS can be installed as part of a multi-ply underlayment system when used over Polystick MTS PLUS.

Although Polystick TU PLUS is designed as an underlayment for clay and concrete tile coverings, this membrane can also be installed under slate tiles. Can be installed as part of a multi-ply underlayment system when used over Polystick MTS PLUS.

Polystick® TU MAX

Polystick TU MAX is a self-adhered waterproofing underlayment designed for use in adhesive foam or mechanically fastened roof tile applications. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick TU MAX features a polymer modified bitumen upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self adhesive compound allows for easy application.

TU MAX features a tough polyester reinforced surface fabric which is skid resistant and provides proven foam set adhesion. The combination of aggressive self-adhesive bottom surface and strong bond of foam to the top surface provide strong resistance to wind uplift and seals the roof from wind-driven rain. In mechanically attached systems, the asphaltic compound provide sealability around nails. This product is suitable for the high temperature environments under tile and other roof coverings.

Polystick TU MAX is a flexible membrane allowing it to lay flat with ease, increasing install speed. This product features patented SEALLap® factory applied adhesive treatment at the membrane overlap which provides a quick watertight bond.

Polystick® TU P

Polystick TU P is self-adhered waterproofing underlayment specifically for use in adhesive foam or mechanically fastened roof tile applications. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick TU P features a polymer modified bitumen upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self adhesive compound allows for easy application.

The mineral granules used on the top surface of Polystick TU P provide maximum skid resistance as well as an extended exposure time of up to 36 months. The combination of the unique surfacing, polyester-glass reinforcement and membrane thickness makes Polystick TU P an extremely robust, scuff and puncture resistant membrane with ultra long exposure times.

Polystick® IR-Xe

Polystick IR-Xe is a self-adhered ice & water protection underlayement for shingle roof coverings. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick IR-Xe features a polymer modified bitumen upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self-adhesive compound allows for easy application.

Polystick IR-Xe is reinforced with a fiberglass mat, and surfaced with aggregate to enhance skid resistance and allow exposure up to 90 days. The rubberized asphalt seals around correctly installed nails on the weathering surface.
