- All Polyglass Sales, Technical, Customer Support, Marketing, and Administrative staff have successfully set up remotely and are able to continue to provide uninterrupted service to our customers and partners.
- Supply chain and availability of raw materials continue to be stressed, but we are still able to make accommodations at all levels with little impact on current production.
We are please to report that our parent corporation, the Mapei Group, although significantly impacted in Italy and the other 36 countries where they produce, remain strong and poised to returning to full strength. Update: 3/18/2020
To All of Our Polyglass Family,
Polyglass is committed to the health and safety of our employees/associates, their families, our customers and vendors. As we tend to this commitment, we also recognize the great importance to keep our wheels turning to make available the quality materials and service our customers deserve and expect especially during these difficult times. We will continue to monitor the Covid-19 outbreak, taking guidance from the CDC and local authorities, and provide updates as appropriate.
Current Status – Customer Support and Office Administration
Company-wide policies have been initiated to cancel in-person meetings, events, and all non-urgent travel, limit on-site facility staff while encouraging work from home, and otherwise follow the guidance of the CDC and local authorities.
Polyglass sales, technical, customer service, and administration remain open for business and available to address any issues or concerns. We discourage direct personal contact and turn to technologies to stay connected in virtual ways such as by phone and video conferencing.
Operations – Maintaining Safe Production
Polyglass will continue to produce at each of our 5 facilities, albeit with appropriate precautions in place including a significant reduction of inter-personal contact and greater access to sanitation and PPE, while maintaining safety and precautionary measures.
Currently, our supply chain remains strong and we expect minimal impact to production output and capacity.
The Coronavirus outbreak has created a very fluid environment which we will continue to monitor and adapt to. As we take the necessary steps to keep our communities safe, we thank all of the Polyglass family for their support and commitment to safety.
We would also like to thank our parent company, Mapei SpA Italy, for their absolute support during these times, and recognize Mapei for their €750,000 donation to San Raffaele and other hospitals in their hometown and the hard-hit region of Milan, Italy.
We appreciate the entire Polyglass community’s support and hope everyone remains safe as we work together towards a brighter future.
