Ideal for commercial and industrial buildings, our cool roof technology extends roof lifespan while optimizing energy performance.
Bright White - Kool Roof Solutions®
Our Bright White Membranes are engineered to meet diverse Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) requirements, offering exceptional energy efficiency and durability. With initial SRI values ranging from 85 to 96 and 3-year aged values of 76, these membranes exceed industry standards for long-term reflectivity. These solutions comply with leading energy and building standards, including Miami 21, LEED, Title 24, Denver GBO, and the Chicago Building Code.
Bright White Kool Roof Solution Membranes come in Fire Rated (FR) Options.
Premium Bright White Solutions
Featuring patented CURE Technology®, Polyfresko® G cap sheets have a highly reflective granule surface which meets, or exceeds most standards for cool roofing. CURE Technology® features an innovative thin film technology attributing to Polyfresko’s exceptional granule retention, minimal staining, scuff resistance and UV stabilization for long-term durability and performance. Available as an APP or SBS membrane, and two installation methods to best suit your application: self-adhered, heat-welded or torch applied. Polyfresko® G also comes in Fire Rated (FR) and High-Performance Fire Rated (HP FR) options.
- Polyfresko G – Highly Reflective White APP (Plastomeric) Cap Sheet
Designed for heat-welded applications, Polyfresko G features a burn-off film backing for easy installation and minimal torch scorch for a cleaner finish. - Polyfresko G SA – Self-Adhered Highly Reflective White APP (Plastomeric) Cap Sheet
Polyfresko G SA features ADESO® Self-Adhered Technology for easy installation with no fumes and a cleaner finish. Designed for superior performance, it prevents asphalt bleed-out at seams, ensuring a sleek appearance.
Everyday Bright White Solutions
Bright White membranes are Polyglass’ latest option to meet most cool roof requirements with a traditional granule surfacing.
Polyglass’ Bright White line truly shines in areas where highly reflective roofs are desired, and/or specified. Bright White membranes feature an initial SRI of 85 and a 3-yr aged value of *CRRC Rapid Ratings: Interim laboratory-aged values, meeting ordinances such as Miami 21, LEED, Title 24, Denver GBO, and Chicago Building Code.
- Elastoflex S6 G: This SBS-modified bitumen membrane with Bright White granules is ideal for cold-applied and hot mop roofing systems that require flexibility plus long-lasting performance.
- Polyflex® G: This is a durable APP granulated cap sheet for low-slope roofing and heat-welded applications. Polyflex G is recommended when you want a combination of high solar reflectivity as well as the reliability of a multi-layer roofing system.
- Polyflex® SA P: A self-adhered APP membrane for low-slope roofs, Polyflex SA P integrates Polyglass’ patented ADESO® Self-Adhered technology with Bright White granules.
Liquid Applied BRIGHT WHITE Coatings

Why Choose Polyglass’ Kool Roof Solutions™
The key to achieving an energy-efficient building is controlling airflow, moisture, and heat transfer through the building envelope. The heat transfer and thermal conductivity of a building’s roof, foundation, and walls significantly influence how much energy is needed to meet its interior heating and cooling demands.
Polyglass’ Kool Roof Solutions™ are engineered to maintain long-term performance and consistently deliver the solar reflectance, energy efficiency, and puncture resistance expected of high-quality cool roofing systems. These products are designed to deliver superior durability, maintaining consistent performance year after year.
FAQs
What are cool roofs?
Cool roofs are designed to reflect the sun’s rays and absorb less heat than typical roofs. Installing a cool roof helps make a building more energy-efficient by reducing the amount of heat that penetrates the building.
Polyglass’ line of Bright White Kool Roof Solutions family utilizes innovative roof solutions and construction materials such to provide exceptional energy efficiency.
What is Solar Reflective Index (SRI)?
Solar Reflective Index is a method of determining the level of solar rays that a roof can reflect. A high SRI indicates a more energy-efficient roof that absorbs less heat.
For example, Polyglass’ Polyfresko membranes achieve exceptional SRI scores, with the Polyfresko G SA Cap Sheet achieving a score of 96 upon initial installation and an SRI of 82 after three years of weathering.
All roofing products that meet SRI requirements (as laid out in the California Building Energy Efficiency Standards, Title 24, Part 6), have also had their radiative properties rated and labeled by the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC).
